I came across a sponsorship program for kids in Uganda who need someone to love and care for them. This program sponsors children who have been affected with AIDS, abandoned, abused, and in poverty. By committing to pay $420 a year, you are allowing one boy or girl to have an education they wouldn't have other wise!! As a highschool senior, I am pursuing a career in Elementary Education and plan to teach PreSchool-2nd grade in America, but also in Africa. This sponsorship is very interesting and important to me!! As of right now, I want to begin sponsoring a child my freshman year in college. It's only $420 and I have been blessed to have a job where I can afford to do this. I know it's a spontaneous goal, but I think the Christian faith is spontaneous at times. This is a step of faith--maybe even a leap of faith for me! But I believe that God has given me a heart for children and missions and that this is where I can start what I hope to be, a life long journey of giving love, hope, and care to someone who truly needs it...Bringing education worldwide!!
